Saturated Oil Density
In this spreadsheet, just type in the required information
and press the compute button. Scroll down for more info.
Oil density for saturated systems.
rho_o = (350*Gamma_o+0.0764*Gamma_g*Rs)/5.615/Bo
Where
rho_o = oil density at p and T, for p < pb, lbm/cu ft,
Gamma_o = oil specific gravity, = 141.5/(131.5+Gamma_API)
Gamma_API = oil API gravity,
Gamma_g = gas specific gravity, air=1,
Rs = solution or dissolved gas, scf/STB.

Bo = oil FVF, bbl/STB.
For more info, refer to
Saturated--Standing,

Undersaturated.
350 = density of water at standard conditions, lbm/STB
0.0764 = density of air at standard conditions, lbm/scf,
5.615 = conversion factor, cu ft/bbl.
